Ms. Linda Gray, a native Washingtonian, has an extensive 30-year career in Human Resources in the federal government, where she has served in various leadership roles in a variety of federal agencies.
Ms. Gray’s career experience has included leadership of all policy, planning and oversight, labor and employee relations, and recruitment and staffing, among other responsibilities. Some of her notable professional accomplishments have been transforming and streamlining the frontline hiring process, employing technology to implement process improvements in all areas of human resources, and recently serving on a detail at HBCU Bowie State University where she has mentored and led the next generation of federal employees and leaders.
Ms. Gray earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the American University. She is also a graduate of the Harvard University Kennedy School. She also holds certifications in a number of skill areas, such as Habits of Effective Leaders, and Executive Coaching. And, she is CEO and president of a consulting service that provides training, consulting, coaching and leadership development.
Ms. Gray has a demonstrated heart for, and familiarity with, the work we do in the Sustaining Parent/Donor Care Committee and has agreed to become a member of the Board and lead the Donor Car portion of the Committee.
